After the successful inaugural Norwegian OSPAs in 2015, we are looking ahead to the 2016 event. As with the 2016 Norwegian OSPAs, award winners be will be announced at the Safety Conference 2016 Awards Dinner, at the Thon Hotel Opera in Oslo on the 21 September 2016.

For 2016, we are announcing the same categories as last year, with one brand new category, to fit the Norwegian security industry. These are:

• Outstanding New Security Product
• Outstanding Government Initiative
• Outstanding In-House Security Manager
• Outstanding Security Consultant
• Outstanding Risk Management Solution

Entries for the 2016 Australian OSPAs opened on the 21st March and close on the 30th August 2016. Each category has two questions (500 words in length) and anyone working in the Norwegian security sector can enter. You don’t have to be a member of an organisation or association to do so.  The main criterion for entry is that you can show that you or your company have performed at an exceptional level. You are also permitted to enter more than one award category.

We can also announce that we have our judging panel assembled. The individuals who will judge the entries this year are:
